Mandy Moore shares birth photos with son Ozzie, Taylor Goldsmith

I just got an intimate look inside the first day she spent with her son.

That This is us The actress, who shares two sons with husband Taylor Goldsmith, on Friday to share a series of photos of her in the hospital with her newborn baby Ozzie. The photos included a picture of Ozzie shortly after his birth on October 21, 2022. Other photos include Goldsmith cradling the little one and a picture of Moore, Goldsmith and Ozzie with their doctors and nurses.

The Princess Diaries star captioned the photos: “A month with our Ozzie. I can still access everything about that moment that simultaneously feels like a second ago and also unimaginable to fathom life before. Thank you dr Waldman, our Rockstar L&D nurse Athena, and our doula (and photographer) @rebeccacoursey_photosandfilm for creating space and facilitating such a transcendent birthing experience.”

Moore, who is both a singer and an actress and often incorporates music into her screen performances, added, “Baby Boy came into this world on the soundtrack of Willie Nelson’s ‘Stardust.’ Good choice sir!”

Moore’s followers loved the special photos. Actress Teresa Palmer wrote: “Oh Mom!!! The second photo is everything. The joy!! So so happy for you!!!!”

Singer Pink added: “To be so happy for someone you grew up with in this crazy business but honestly hardly know – I’ll say it anyway. I am so damn happy for you and I know with all my heart that you deserve it all. Happy birthday to you.”

This is us Co-star Sterling K. Brown, who played her son on the recently ended NBC series, gushed, “It’s all just beautiful!”

Moore has previously opened up about a health condition that requires an unmedicated birth for her. She was , which made her platelets “too low” to receive an epidural before giving birth to their first son, Gus, in February 2021.

“It was horrible,” she said, giving birth to Gus with no painkillers. “But I can do it again. I can climb this mountain again. I wish meds were an option – just the thought of them being on the table is so beautiful. But we will just carry on like last time.”

The “Candy” singer has also been candid about motherhood’s struggles and triumphs with her social media followers in recent weeks. In a recent Instagram post, she spoke about them, writing, “Turns out mastitis is brutal but antibiotics turned my world upside down in 24 hours.”
