Apple’s iPad 10.2 is on sale at Amazon

Whether you’ve thought about finally getting a tablet; are a longtime PC or Android user curious about an OS change; or have decided it’s time to replace your Apple device that has seen better days, there are a lot of things we want to share with you. Right now, Amazon is discounting the 2021 Apple 10.2-inch iPad to $270, compared to the usual $329 Black Friday price!

That’s almost $30 off! And the value is even greater considering that this model comes with 64GB of storage, while its predecessor only offered 32GB for the same price.

Meanwhile, this iPad is also faster (thanks to an improved processor) and equipped with a greatly improved front camera to better participate in video calls. This camera, in conjunction with Apple’s Center Stage feature, automatically keeps focus on the subject (you) as you move – and it even widens if someone else enters the frame.

Otherwise not much has changed. The iPad still relies on Apple’s Lightning connector (instead of USB-C, which high-end models and the new iPad Mini have embraced). It still uses a home button with Touch ID, and still has a fairly chunky bezel along the top and bottom edges.

The new entry-level iPad 10.2 looks the same from the outside, but packs a faster processor and a better front-facing camera. And right now it’s $29 cheaper. (Photo: Apple)

“Bought this iPad for fourth and final grandchild as we have for the last three,” wrote one delighted grandparent. “He enjoys it and facetimes us every day. That’s what we love the most.”

Another wrote: “This latest and affordable iPad is cutting edge, smooth and easy to navigate. Which was really me when I learned that all data and apps could be transferred from my iPhone 11 to iPad by following easy-to-follow instructions. I did that and within about 15 minutes everything jumped from the iPhone to the new iPad. How cool is that? I have owned previous iPad versions but this one leaves them in the dust. It’s worth the update for only about $300 in.”

“There are so many different ways to use this device. I got mine to start a digital planner and it works beautifully,” gushed another satisfied customer. “One charge lasts me days. I didn’t have to buy one of those $100 iPad pens either. I got one for $26 and it writes perfectly. The picture quality is great when you want to watch movies or read an article/blog.”

We’re not sure how long this deal will last, so grab it while you can.

Of course, if you have Amazon Prime, you get free shipping. Not a member yet? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders $25 or more.)
